Idler Gear
A gear intended to re-orient two gears on either end of it so that they are rotating in the same direction. Because both source and target gears run on same idler gear surface, gear ratio is not changed.
Ignition
The term to describe the detonation and burning (oxidation) of fuel. The source of ignition in glow fuel engines is the glow plug.
